In October 2007, we equipped our Valmet 921 and sawhead with TAIMI hydraulics products. All moving hoses are now fitted with Taimi Swiwell Cartridges, including the feed roller motors. 

We also installed a Taimi swivel on the large 1¼ in. pressure line that runs from the back to the front of the machine. The original swivel brand on this line was causing a large spill every times it would pull apart. The oil tank almost emptied every time. 

Before hearing about Taimi products, we had tried just about every swivel brand on the market without much success. Our consumption of oil and hoses remained important, costing us lots of money in both material and downtime. 

We had heard about Taimi products and luckily we decided to try them on our equipment. 

After 15 months of operations, I can say that the products performed even better than I expected. They are still all in very good shape. 

The leak resistance and reliability of these products is like I have never seen before. 

On top of that we have easily doubled or even tripled the life of our hoses. 

We have rarely seen a so simple product have so much positive impact on our operations. 

Thanks to Taimi we have reduced our operation costs. In these tough times, the help was more than welcome.
